I can work from a simple description or directly from the draft of your article, but if you can give me an idea, or even better, a hand-made draft, it will help me a lot and the end result will be closer to what you had in mind!

Once you have contacted me, we will arrange a meeting to discuss your project in more detail.

When I know what I need to know, I will work on a rough concept and when it is ready, I will get back to you with a quote. If you are not happy with it, I will work on another concept until you are.

After we have agreed on a concept that you like, it will take me a few days to turn it into a publication-ready illustration, and then you will have a month to ask for any minor revisions and make sure the image is perfect for your needs

It usually takes me about a week to deliver a first publication-ready cover illustration based on the element you give me. You will then have the opportunity to ask for revisions/changes, but the whole process rarely takes longer than 2 weeks.

Simple figures and diagrams can be done within a few days, but animation usually takes between 1 and 2 months, depending on the length of the video.

I understand that editors may ask you to submit your illustration in a very short time, if this is the case let me know and I will do my best to deliver on time. If necessary, I am perfectly capable of producing a high quality cover illustration within a day.

At the end of the contract, you will receive your illustration in the most common formats (*.jpg, *.png and *.tif) in high resolution, as well as a mock-up illustration showing your illustrations as if they were already published and printed!
